Me and my boyfriend are on a break and i miss him
I posted earlier this week about the fact that my SO and I have hit a rough patch in our relationship, we had both admitted that he had started to get a bit lazy, both with treating me more like a girlfriend than a room mate. He was also getting lazy with his share of the housework and most irritatingly he had started going out more with work friends etc and had started cancelling our personal plans which quite rightly so upset me. It was an amicable solution and we still love each other vv much. Today has been harder for some reason. Next Wednesday will be the 2 week mark.SEE VIDEO BY TOPIC: I Broke Up With My Boyfriend, Now I Want Him Back

A Guy’s Take on Being on a Break
How do you tell your ex you miss him more than you thought possible? These tips will help you know if getting back with your ex is a good idea, or if your loneliness is pushing you to make a bad decision. You miss the comfort and companionship of having a boyfriend to call, a partner to lean on, a man to share your life with.
I have involved myself in many hobbies, community activities and going to church. I miss being happy. I keep thinking I should contact my ex boyfriend and ask if he wants to get back together.
Do you think I should? Your feelings are normal; you miss your boyfriend because you loved him — and you probably still do! Of course you love him.
He was part of your life, he knew your friends, and he may even have shared your home for years. Give yourself time to grieve the end of your relationship. You may even feel confused, frustrated, and worried about being alone for the rest of your life.
Before you contact your ex — or even think about the process of reconciliation after a separation — read through these signs you should tell your ex you miss him. Believing that the breakup was a mistake is a healthy reason to get back together. On the other hand, maybe you believe you should get back together with your ex because you made a mistake. Sometimes pride and fear of rejection holds us back from telling people how much we love them.
After a breakup, it can be tempting to quickly rebound into a new relationship — especially if you feel lonely, insecure and scared of being alone.
Let him be. He is trying to move on. Let his relationship unfold naturally. Remember that you and he broke up for a reason. What do you need from him? What do you need from yourself, your life? Instead of jumping into their lives, learn how to cope when your ex has a new girlfriend.
After a breakup it can be tempting to remember the relationship with rose-colored glasses. We remember all the happy moments, loving times, blissful experiences. We forget the irritations — or even the major faults that led to the breakup. Remember why your ex is your ex. You know if your ex just wants to close the chapter on the past and move on. Stay focused on caring for your kids, future, home and responsibilities. You should never tell your ex you miss him and want him back if you know he just wants to get along and move on.
Maybe you overreacted to something he did, or made an impulsive decision you now regret. Maybe you made a mistake and you regret the breakup.
If you know you were wrong and you hurt him, try to put yourself in his shoes. If you tell him you miss him, will he feel more pain than relief? What do you think he needs to hear? How might he feel if you contact him and say that you want him back? Try to understand how he might feel, what he might think, and how he might respond. Maybe you broke up with your ex because you were struggling with an addiction, health issues, or family problems. Maybe you cheated on him, or thought he betrayed you.
Are you different now? How have you changed and grown? Maybe you went to counseling or renewed your relationship with God. Have you really changed, or are you just fooling yourself? Has your ex changed…or is it time to let him go? It takes courage, strength and wisdom to let go of someone you love. Do you have a strong feeling or gut instinct that you should tell your ex you miss him?
This might be one of the best — and yet the most indescribable — reasons to contact him. Maybe you just know you belong together. Your heart has reasons that reason cannot know. Just tell him the truth about how you feel. But, you can move forward and create something new in your life.
Maybe this will involve your ex…and maybe you need to move forward alone. Grow forward into the new season God has planned…it may be better than you could ever imagine or hope for. I feel lost and scared about my future. Believe me, I am grateful for what I have and I know there are people who have it so much more worse than I.
But is it wrong to long for everlasting true love? How do I know for certain that I am meant to be with someone? Maybe God wants me to be alone.
How do I cope with feeling unwanted? I know this post is about telling your ex you miss him but that is not what I want to do. You are not alone in how you feel, Samantha! Read through my tips for coping with loneliness.

Why taking a break could save your struggling relationship
Sounds simple, right? That if you can figure out how to make him miss you after a breakup, the feeling alone would be strong enough to make him want to get back together with you. Think of it like a formula.
Is there anything more confusing in a relationship then when you or even worse, they decide it's time to to "take a break"? Not a breakup, but a break. What does that mean? Does it mean — gasp!
Me and my boyfriend decided to take a break, but I miss him so much, advice?
I have evidence in the form of 28 years of pop culture consumption and late-night talks with friends to believe we all have a little bit of love blindness in us. Going on a break is a divisive solution for a relationship rough patch. Relationship-break hindsight, in that sense, is rife with realizations. In order to mine that wisdom, I asked a bunch of people who went on a break about how theirs turned out. The break lasted about a month. Skip ahead to two more years and we are no longer together. Already tried it and it was clear! He is 18 years older than me and I felt as though I had some boxes left unchecked that I wanted to explore.
